If English is not your first language or received your education in a language other than English, then, you are required to demonstrate your proficiency in the English language. Capilano University accepts all the major English language tests. The minimum marks required in English tests are as follows:

• TOEFL: 83 (online test) and 560 (paper-delivered test)
• IELTS: 6.5 overall with no single score below 6
• PTE: 56 (overall)
• DET: 125 or higher with no sub-score less than 115

International students must submit a proof of English Language proficiency to be considered for University of Colorado Denver  admission ( especially non-english speaking countries). Students can demonstrate that they are proficient in English by submitting the English proficiency test scores
