MS Ramaiah College of Law may exempt students with a CLAT score of 50% and above from taking the RCL Admission Test that is conducted by the college for admission in BCom LLB. However, attending the PI round is mandatory. A student is not guaranteed a seat with just a high score in CLAT. He/she has to attend the interview and perform well to get his/her name in the merit list.

For admission in BCom LLB at Institute of Law, Nirma University, it is mandatory for the eligible candidate to take the CLAT exam. On the other hand, MS Ramaiah College of Law conducts its own entrance test and interview round for selection in BCom LLB. Ramaiah College may exempt students from its RCL Admission Test if the candidate has secured 50% or above in the CLAT exam but taking CLAT exam is not compulsory for admission in its integrated law courses.

No, the registrations for CLAT-UG 2026 have been closed at this point for GNLU Gandhinagar BA LLB (Hons) admissions. Candidates who had appeared for the CLAT-UG 2026 need to wait for the counseling round results to be announced which have been postponed for 2026.

Candidates who failed to appear for the CLAT-UG 2026 must wait for the CLAT-UG 2027 registrations to open in the month of August.

MS Ramaiah College of Law conducts its own entrance test called RCL Admission Test for admission in BCom LLB. However, if the eligible candidate has successfully registered for the BCom LLB programme and has secured 50% or above in the CLAT exam, then the college may accept the CLAT score in place of the score of RCL Admission Test.

Candidates must understand that the CLAT Exam is for admission to NLUs and it is national level competitve exam. But AIL LET Exam is for one specific college. It is completly a personal choice to choose.

The AIL LET Exam is comparatively easier than the CLAT. While CLAT is held for NLUs, the AIL LET Exam is only for Army Institute of Law. Hence, the competition and difficutly level is bit less.

The Chanakya National Law University Patna BA LLB (hons) cutoff trend has shown an increase in competition for admissions. The BA LLB (hons) admission cutoff has seen a small increase which might be the result of either better CLAT-UG scores than the previous year or more applicants for BA LLB (hons) admissions.
