NLU Kolkata LLM programme has a seat intake of 102 students, including all specialisations. Candidates are offered seat in LLM based on their CLAT score. In 2024, CLAT cutoff for NUJS LLM was 620 indicating that aspirants must have a rank between 500-700 for a seat in NUJS LLM.

NLU Kolkata BA LLB (Hons) admissions are done based on CLAT scores. Candidates are shortlisted based on the minimum eligibility criteria set by the CLAT Consortium of NLUs. CLAT is an offline exam conducted at the national-level. It is a two-hour test required for admission to NUJS. The 2024 cutoff was concluded after Round 5 of the admissions list. The closing rank of the BA LLB (Hons) was 262 in Round 1 and 279 in the last round of CLAT for the general AI category candidates.

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) and GITAM School of Law have different fee structures for their respective B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programs. Total Fees INR 5.24 Lacs (for 5 years) for DSNLU. On the other hand, Total Fees INR 6.93 Lacs (for 5 years) For GITAM university. Based on these facts, GITAM School of Law appears to be more expensive than DSNLU for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program.

The cutoff for Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program closed at 2080 AIR after the 5th round of Counseling in 2023. Therefore, it is unlikely that a candidate with a 56 percentile in CLAT would be able to secure admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program at DSNLU, as the AIR equivalent to a 56 percentile is expected to be higher than the closing rank.

The total fee including academic, accommodation, and mess is 2.35 Lacs Rupees only. The fees is subject to change every year. The Scholarship is based on your state and are available for Andhra Pradesh residents and a special waiver can be made on permission of the VC. There are even many banks providing loans and central and state government scholarship schemes to help the students.

Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) accepts the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores for admission to its B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program. The cutoff for CLAT varies each year, and for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program, the CLAT cutoff for DSNLU closed at 2080 AIR after the 5th round of Counseling in 2023. Therefore, candidates need to meet the CLAT cutoff rank to be eligible for admission to the program.
