Since the SLAT places a lot of emphasis on analytical skills, the questions tend to be drawn from subjects that call for in-depth study and practise. Candidates must employ their capacity for minute observation and quick calculation in each of the three areas of the SLAT question paper. For the past 2-3 years, the syllabus of SLAT has been the same. However, there is a guarantee that the SET exam authority will not make any changes to the SLAT syllabus in the future. All the important updates related to the SLAT exam are published on the official website of the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), set-test.org. Thus, if the exam authority changes the SLAT syllabus, candidates will be able to know about those changes by visiting the SET website. All the details related to SLAT in a particular year are published on this website at least 5-6 months prior to the commencement of the exam. Thus, if the exam authority makes some changes to the SLAT syllabus, this much time will be sufficient for SLAT aspirants to prepare for the exam according to the updated syllabus.

No, the syllabus for SLAT 2023 was the same as the syllabus for SLAT 2022. All five sections, Analytical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, General English and General Knowledge were the same as the sections in the SLAT syllabus of the previous year. Questions from mathematics and current affairs were also asked in SLAT 2023. These topics were also included in the previous year’s syllabus of SLAT. Thus, the SLAT syllabus did not change this year. The only difference in the context of the SLAT question paper was the level of sectional difficulty. The section related to General Knowledge with current affairs was more difficult than that of the previous year.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) released the CLAT Fifth and Final Provisional Allotment list on Jun 15 (10:30 AM) for admission to all the NLU's to BA LLB and LLM programmes. Selected candidates must pay the confirmation fee to Consortium for freeze and float options and admission by NLUs for the Fifth Allotment List between Jun 15 to Jun 20 (10:30 PM).

Further, CLAT Counselling 2023 is to be conducted in total of five rounds. of which four have been released till now. Earlier, CNLU has released CLAT 2023 First and Second Allotment List on Jan 18 and Jan 27 2023, respectively. Also, Third Allotment List and Fourth Allotment List on May 25 and Jun 5, respectively.
