Because Bar Council of India (Which regulates lawyers profession) does not recognize any distance education degree for LL.B. Therefore, even if you managed to obtain one, you will not be able to practice in court with that degree. In simple word you can't become lawyer doing LL.B. Through distance or correspondence mode.

No this is not compulsory that after registration with state bar council you have to appear in AIBE exam with in two years. As per BCI letter no. BCI: D: 564 dated 31.01.2017, Advocate who has graduated after 1St July 2010 can appear in AIBE exam as many times as it requires him to pass such exam irrespective of the fact that he has been enrolled for more than two years as an Advocate on state bar council roll. The concerned Advocate is only barred for practicing as an Advocate. If even after two years of being enrolled as an Advocate on a state bar council roll, he is unable to clear or pass the AIBE exam.

As per the seat matrix of three colleges of PU's, there are about 480 seats (300 BA LLB+180 B.Com LLB). So chances of getting B.A. LLB in PU are high.

It depend on your career goal. What you want from your future. Both are demanding and good carree choices. B.Com LL.B. Has it's own advantage. It open a vast number ofbopportunties like Judicary, litigation, CS Banking sector jobs. It make you self employed professional as advocate or lawyer. Whereas BCA is demanding course and can open a large number of opportunities when followed by MCA. As everything is technology based. It open a lot of avenues in government and private sector jobs. I will prefer B.Com LL.B. Although BCA is equally lucrative and demanding for present and future. Best wishes.
