I am not sure about the Diploma but NLSIU regularly conducts certificate course in Medical Law and Ethics. Refer to distance education department website for more details. (http://ded.nls.ac.in/).

Hi Aniket,
RMNLU is one of the best law universities in Uttar Pradesh and has been listed among the top 20 Law Universities in India, many a time by different magazines. Compared to other law colleges, it provides quality education to its students and encourages its students to participate in other co-curricular activities like Moots, Paper Presentations, MUNs and many cultural activities. The university has a really good recruitment cell functioning, which looks after students internships and placements.
Thus, if you are thinking of getting a seat in RMNLU, it won't be a bad choice, it being a National Law University.

Hi Sakthi,
Any career is a good choice if you have the urge/interest and long-term plans for it. Pursuing law after completing electrical engineering seems likely a confusing choice, as both aren't related to each other in any way. But yes, it depends, if you have long-term goals for it, like going for UPSC with the law as an optional subject and get to know the Arts subjects, which are generally common to the UPSC subjects, then this step taken by you to pursue law won't be a loss.

Hi Chandni,
The best universities providing 5-year BA LLB/B.Com LLB/B.Sc LLB degrees are the National Law Universities (Total 18 in India). In order to get into an NLU (National Law University), you need to appear for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) after completion of class 12th held in the month of May every year or AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) for National Law University, Delhi.
The other universities which are considered good for a law degree, include:
1. DU LLB (Faculty of Law, Delhi University Law Entrance)
2. IPU CET LLB (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University)
3. ILI CAT (Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test)
4. SET
...more

Hi Vikas,
There is no age bar in order to pursue an LLB, but you need to have a graduation degree (10+2+3) to qualify for a 3-year LLB course. Generally, one needs to have at least 45% marks in their graduation (BA/B.Com/B.Sc) and 35% for ST/SC to qualify for LLB.

There is no term called a legal journalist. You can join a PG course in journalism and then opt for crime reporting. That may lead you to get into legal cases and report the same.
