Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts IPU Common Entrance Test (CET) Law every year for admission in Undergraduate course for university main campus and Institutes affiliated to university. Admission test CET is conducted in April every year. GGSIPU CET eligibility criteria is that candidate should have passed 10+2 board examination from a recognised institution with English as compulsory subject. The minimum marks required is 50% in 10+2 exam.

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the most common and must entrance examination to seek admission in 5 years integrated Law degree course after 10+2 stage. CLAT entrance examination is conducted for admission to 18 of the coveted National Law Schools of India.

Yes, in law it may take some time to start your own practice. After completion of a law degree, you have to work with a lawyer to learn about how to present and deal your case. After gaining some experience (around 1 year), you can start your own practice. Customers may be less but definitely, you will get some. Apart from this, you can join legal firms after completing the law degree so that you can get a good start.

All the students graduating from academic year 2009-10 onwards need to clear the All India Bar Examination in order to practice law in India. The All India Bar examination will be conducted every year from 2011 onwards. The Bar Council of India will notify dates for these examinations.

Firstly, Bar council of India approve only regular LLB programmes for which the maximum age limit is 30. For that, you have to appear for entrance test and interview as per university admission process.
