Most of the law graduates work as apprentice while they are in final year of their studies. After gaining experience as apprentice, they can take part in the examinations organized by Law Society. Those clearing this examination can work as articled clerks. These professionals can work under the experienced advocates as junior advocates and can gain several years of experience. Dear Ankit.
As far as my knowledge is about these two colleges , both are offering different courses so we can't really compare.since one is offering Masters in management and other is a law college. so please be specific about what you want to study and for which course you are comparing.

UPES and ICFAI are the colleges for law in Dehradun. Among these two, UPES is better in terms of placements, infrastructure and exposure. More details you can get on websites of these colleges.

Hi Pooja,
If you wish to become a lawyer and be able to practice in the court of Law, you will have to complete the 3 year LLB program for which the eligibility is a graduation in any stream.
Different law Universities and colleges conduct different law entrance exams, to admit students to their courses, like NET (National Entrance Test), CLAT (Common Law Admission Test), Department of Law University of Delhi take admission through a common Entrance Test for all the three Law Centers (Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-I and Law Centre-II).
