Delhi University is well known for its academics in almost every field, including law. The DU has a dedicated placement and internship committee that prepares graduates for a career in law. LL.B. Graduates are offered job opportunities in reputed law firms such as DSLSA, Live Law, Vanta Legal, etc. According to previous year's placement data, graduates were offered an average salary package of around 5 LPA. The majority of DU law graduates prefer to do litigation work under lawyers in various courts. Some others prefer the job of legal consultant and analyst at different firms.

After B.Com you need to LLB. But a Law degree alone is not enough to become a practicing lawyer. After completing Law School, one must pass the All-India Bar Exam (AIBE). Eligible persons are admitted as advocates on the roles of the State Bar Councils. Those admitted as advocates by any State Bar Council are eligible for a Certificate of Enrolment.
