In terms of career exposure, PGCL being in Mumbai, has a lot of advantages. However the choice and decision is dependent on career aspirations, academic inclination and financial viability and affordability (given the high cost of living in Mumbai).

It has been a long time, I believe you could ask the college you has enrolled with for your course as to what can be done. There is a very high possibility that you might have to re-enrol and start afresh.
