The eligibility criteria for LLM is that candidate must have done a 3-year or a five-year integrated law programme (degree) from any recognised University. BA economics grads cannot take admission in LLM directly.

Hi,
Yes, you can apply for LLB because student from any stream can pursue law. LLB program duration is 3 years and even after economics honors, LLB program will a good option.

After completing BA LLB, one can apply for license to practice law as an advocate. In five year law degree, after successful completion of three years, some universities give a BLS degree. It is not a professional degree.

Both LLB and MBA are diverse career options which are difficult to compare. It is apple vs oranges comparison. You must choose your professional degree based on your interests, not on which degree is best.
