To get admission to the BDes (Bachelor of Design) programme at Lovely Professional University (LPU), follow these steps:

1. Eligibility Criteria: Ensure you meet the eligibility requirements. For BDes, candidates should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. The programme is open to students from all streams, including Science, Commerce, and Arts.

2. Application Process: Visit the official LPU website and create an account to register for the application. Fill out the online application form with your personal details, academic history, and any other required information. You will need to upload scanned copies of your documents, including your 10+2 marksheet and photographs.

3. Entrance Exam: Admission to the BDes programme is based on performance in the LPUNEST (LPU National Entrance and Scholarship Test). This test assesses candidates' aptitude in areas like design, logical reasoning, and creativity. The entrance exam can be taken online at a designated time, and it also serves as a basis for scholarship consideration.

4. Personal Interview: After clearing the entrance exam, shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview or portfolio submission to assess their creative potential and design skills.

5. Final Admission: Based on the exam score and interview performance, candidates are offered admission. Selected candidates can proceed with fee payment and document verification.

LPU receives the highest NAAC grade i.e. A+ with 3.68 crore on 4 point scale as per the Ministry of Education, Government of India As per the NIRF rankings LPU ranks 38th amongst all the government and private universities of India and 50th in engineering.

Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) for admission in B.Tech - is that a student need to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST

How to Apply

Candidates can apply offline for PhD course as soon as they recieve the LPUNEST Kit. The application form can be submitted by one of the following methods:
1. Manual Application: Fill the full application form (OMR sheet) after reading all the instructions as specified under the head “Instructions for filling Application Form (OMR sheet)” and send it to the university in the self-addressed envelope on the following Address: Block 30, Room No 102, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar Delhi, GT Road, Phagwara, Punjab, India – 144411

2. Semi-Offline Application: In case applicant is unable to send the hard copy of application form (OMR Sheet), then applicant may scratch the Unique OMR code available on application form (OMR Sheet) and follow the below mentioned steps:

• Sign up on LPU ADMIT portal
• When prompted for payment, choose the option of Unique OMR Code (given on OMR Sheet)and fill the same.

The exam fee for LPUNEST (soft copy of LPUNEST KIT) is INR 1,000 for males and INR 500 for females. The printed LPUNEST Kit is INR 1,500 for boys and INR 1,000 for girls. Check below the steps to apply for LPU PhD admission:

The email id used during registration will act as the username for the portal and the password needs to be set by the candidate while registering. Candidates can continue to apply for LPUNEST (for scholarship purposes).

Step 3: Upload the requisite documents.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and hit the submit button to complete the application process.

• Marksheet and passing certificates of Class 10 and Class 12
• Address proof

In order to get admission in BCA programme at LPU you are required to satisfy the following eligibility conditions:

Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent.

For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.

The admission dates are given below:

Online Registration Starts on:    1st July 2023 onwards
Last Date of Admission:    31st July 2023

To apply for the same below mentioned steps are to be followed:

Step 1 - Signup
Register onto LPUADMIT with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your email id will act as your username for the portal and password will be set by you while registering on the portal.
You will get a mail on your registered email id regarding this.
Login to the LPUADMIT with already created username/ password.

Step 2 - Application for Admission
Fill the application form.
Select your programme from the Available Programme List.
Deposit initial payment of Rs.10000 .After the successful realization of the payment:
A Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID.
Upload the documents.

All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.
Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university.

LPU admission to MBA course is based on LPUNEST, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT or NMAT score followed by a GDPI round. Additionally, Candidates must pass graduation with at least 55% aggregate or completed Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Chartered Accountancy (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) to apply for LPU MBA course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seat. The total fee for LPU MBA course ranges between INR 1.60 lakh and INR 10 lakh. Step 1 - Signup

STEP 2 - Application for Admission

Matriculation Marksheet
Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet. Also, if the applicant is claiming scholarship on the basis of qualification previous to eligibility qualification he/ she is required to submit the previous qualifications exam certificate/ marksheet also. In case the exam certificate/ marksheet is not available at the time of filling this application form (recently appeared), it may be submitted later also.
Address Proof
All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.
Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university.

STEP 3 - Apply LPUNEST (Entrance and Scholarship Test)
LPUNEST is an online test which acts as a gateway to programme you are interested in. Admission in this programme is done based on performance in LPUNEST. In addition, LPUNEST also act as Scholarship test and student can avail huge scholarship based on performance in this test.

Deposit the test fee:
Cost of Application form and Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is INR 1000 (for Boys) and ?500 (for Girls).
Cost of Application form and Printed LPUNEST Kit is INR 1500 (for Boys) and ?1000 (for Girls).
Fill the test application form.

STEP 4 - Book the Exam Slot and Appear
Book the slot to appear in the LPUNEST Exam:
For Test Centre Based Exam, Book preferred venue, date and time.
For Remotely Proctored Online Exam, Book preferred date and time. 
Appear and qualify the exam.
Perform STEP 2 in case admission is not taken already.
