Dear Aspirant LPU is not approved by AICTE because it is a full fledged University and recognised by UGC. As per the law if a university is recognised by UGC than it doesn't require any additional approval from AICTE. Dear Student the eligibility criteria to take admission into MCA programme at LPU is:-
Pass with 90% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years or B.A. Or B.Com. Or B.Sc. (any Graduation) with (Mathematics as one of the subject at Graduation or 10+2 level) or equivalent
or
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years or B.A. Or B.Com. Or B.Sc. (any Graduation) with (Mathematics as one of the subject at Graduation or 10+2 level) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. The above means if you have secured at least 90 percent in your Bachelor degree you will be exempted from LPU NEST Exam. Based on the information on their official website you are eligible for 20 percent scholarship as you have scored 92 percent in 12th.
