Candidates seeking admission to the BSc programme at DMC Ludhiana must appear for Punjab Para Medical entrance test conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot. The institute does not offer direct admission to candidates. However, candidates applying for Foreign Indian student (NRI) seats in this institution will be admitted on merit determined on the basis of marks obtained by them in the qualifying examination equivalent to Class 12 examination of PSEB/ CBSE/ ICSE in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. The equivalence, merit and eligibility of these candidates will be determined by the University who will issue an eligibility certificate to such candidates and they will not be required to take the entrance test. 

DMC Ludhiana BSc admission process 2024 will commence soon on the institute's official website. Interested candidates are required to register on the website for admission and must pay Dayanand Medical College BSc fees to confirm the admission. Given below is step-wise admission process for DMC Ludhiana BSc course:

STEP 1: Visit to the official website and must register for fresh admission by provide personal, guardian and educational details, upload the necessary documents and pay DMC Ludhiana BSc application fees.

STEP 2: Appear for the Punjab Para Medical entrance test (PPMET) conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.

STEP 3: A merit list is then declared by the University and shortlisted candidates are required to appear for the counselling process for seat allotment. They must pay Dayanand Medical College Ludhiana BSc fees to confirm their admission. DMC Ludhiana fee structure for BSc is INR 57,900 per year (tuition fee).

DMC Ludhiana and JSS Medical College, both offers BSc at the undergraduate level. DMC Ludhiana offers BSc in Nursing specialisation on another hand, JSS Medical College offers BSc in different specialisations. According to the NIRF ranking 2023, DMC Ludhiana Hospital stood at rank 35 while JSS Medical College got rank 37 in the medical category. DMC Ludhiana fee structure for BSc is INR 57,900 for the first-year and the fee charged by JSS Medical College ranges from INR 64,300 to INR 4.9 lakh, depending upon the specialisation selected by candidates. Ranking wise, DMC Ludhiana is better option but also charges comparatively high total tuition fee. In the end, it all comes down to candidate's preference.

DMC Ludhiana BSc seat reservation is followed by the institute to allot the seats to different quota candidates. 50% seats each are reserved for both Government quota and Management quota including Foreign Indian Student (NRI). 

The government quota seats would be filled up by the admissions committee appointed by the Government on the basis of merit in PPMET and the management quota seats would be filled up by a selection committee, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot strictly based on merit in the PPMET.
