The entrance exams into the Master of Arts in English vary from place to place. For instance, for 2024 the crucial exams are CUET PG, which will go ahead from March 11-28, 2024. Some universities may conduct their entrance exams; though the dates will be on varying times. For instance, TISSNET is held in the 4th week of February 2024. For M.A Journalism and Mass Communication, a syllabus of focused areas covering journalism, mass communication and media studies is required to prepare for. The syllabus normally covers about 10-12 papers per semester, i.e 4-6 papers in the first semester and 4-6 papers in the second semester. Introduction to Journalism and Mass Communication, Media and Society, Reporting and Editing, Broadcast Journalism, Research Methodology are just a few topics covered.
