I am not very sure whether one can get good placement opportunities after completing Masters from M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences or not. You should do it from a place where it's worth paying fees and you can get to learn enough.If you want to do Bachelor's in designing only then there are much better colleges for it like NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology ), NID (National Institute of Design), IIT-CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design). These colleges are design specialised and will give you better career opportunities. These all are government colleges and comes under top 50 design colleges all over the world. One can easily get a starting salary of 3 LPA from them.I hope you will make a good decision.

There is no room for doubt, you should definitely go for National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad over Apeejay Stya University. It's a government college and the best college for design in India and comes under the list of top 50 colleges all over the world. The placement opportunities given to the students in India after completing Masters of design from Sristi Institute of Art, Design and Technology are good because they believe that education is beyond instruction and skill, that knowledge is inherently integrated and complex and, hence, learning must be embedded in real-world problems and situations. They believe in looking beyond the origins of references and citations from scholarly texts and peer-reviewed journals, the references of artists and practitioners of the unschooled also contribute to learning.
They believe in extending education beyond the gated and the preserved, it should be permeable and porous allowing students to work at the level of the street and the bazaar, and to explore and experiment with the textures of the rural and the urban.

Ramaiah university of applied Science are very non design background colleges. You should do it from a place where its worth paying fees and can get to learn enough. If you want to do master's in designing only then there are much better colleges for it like NIFT (national institute of fashion technology ), NID (national institute of design), IIT - UCEED ( undergraduate common entrance examination for design ). These colleges are design specialised and will give you better career opportunities. these are all government colleges and comes under the top 50 design colleges all over the world. one can easily get an starting salary of three Lacs per annum atlest. I am not very sure whether you should go for any one of these colleges or not. University of Technology and International School of Design, both are very non-designing kind of universities. You should do it from a worthy place where its worth paying the fee and learning. If you want to do Bachelors in designing only then there are much better colleges for it like NIFT, NID and IIT-UCEED. These colleges are design specialised and will give you better career opportunities. These are all government colleges and come under the top 50 design colleges all over the world. One can easily get a starting salary of three Lacs per annum at least.

The dedicated placement unit provides career support to all students. The placement unit helps the students not only in finding jobs but advises the students individually about resumes, portfolios, interviews and other job-search strategies.

The college supports any project or ideas adding to the academics. But the extra curricular activities are not that well-supported.Campus life would be hectic due to the tightly packed schedules of internals, labs, and various assignments, projects, etc. 7.5 CGPA cut-off for fee-waiver is another parameter determining student participation in various non-academic clubs and activities. For an ideal book-loving student, IIST would be the best option.
