Companies like Trident started offering 36 LPA to design students. But, it is also based on the performance of a student and how much budget the company has.

Royal Global University commonly known as Assam Royal Global University is located in Guwahati. The university has many courses right from undergraduate to PhD programs in various branches. B.Design is an undergraduate course taught in the duration of 4 years and divided into 8 semesters. One person that has qualified 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board can pursue this course.
The university has good infrastructure and faculty for B.Design. It conducts many workshops and offers good exposure to the students. They offer internship programs for students where they can learn the overall organizational functions and understand the way of working by the designers on buyers design choice and process after receiving the design.
Students get opportunities to participate in numerous co-curricular activities on and off campus, to realize their true worth and potential. RSFT ensures visits to industries and export houses to provide them practical training.
They also make the students do a project through which they are able to develop their creativity. The grads can work as fashion designers, interior designers, costume designers, etc. The university offers few placement opportunities but the students can themselves find jobs right through off campus placement too.

Indian Institute of Technology at Guwahati was established in 1994 in Guwahati in Assam. This was established so that students of seven sisters get an IIT nearer to their home. The next step was establishment of department of design. Idea was to train students in India itself who will be experts in varied and different aspects of industrial design. Initially, undergraduate courses began and then post graduate as well as research has also begun leading to awards of PhD. Brand IIT is all pervasive. Guwahati being industrial leader of North Eastern states also helps. Students are placed in internships also with different industries in India and abroad also. Placements are the heart and soul of any education institute of repute and IIT G is no exception. All students who register are placed without fail every year.

Banasthali Vidyapeeth is a deemed university for women only that traces its humble origin in the death of young daughter of Pandit Heeralal Shastri in year 1935. Of course it has come a long way since then. It's a fully residential education hub for women / girls from schooling to doctoral programmes. It's indeed doing yeomen service to the female education in the state of Rajasthan which is otherwise not friendly towards females. This NAAC 'A' certified university has not only undergraduate, post graduate courses in design but has doctoral student also in this field. Textile is a very old industry in Rajasthan and its colorful dresses are known worldwide. With its pedigree and excellent academics, the university claims to achieve placements of almost 100% year after year particularly in this design faculty.To conclude, one can definitely say that for any girl candidate the biggest issue is getting admission. Then everything is super smooth including placements.

Looking at the past results, no student has been given placement from the college during their final year in M.Des, but they have certainly got Pre-Placement offers from the places they went for internship. The value of course done from here is impeccable which makes a student eligible to get excellent jobs in companies with their made portfolio.
I wouldn't suggest anybody to go for seeking after M.Des from University Of Petroleum and Energy Studies, because the required environment that a Designing student should get is not present here.
Furthermore, also if the placements are bad, no reason would overwhelm to concede affirmation in this college for planning to study even after various great open doors.
If one doesn't get admission in other better college then only one should go for taking admission in UPES for designing keeping it at the last priority. There are much better institutes in the nation like NIDs or Pearl Academy.

Design Village Institute - non-profit institute registered in the State of Washington affiliated to Shri Venkateswara University. VDI offers only 10 seats for Interior Architecture, Product Design, Fashion Design, and Graphic Design PG Course. VDI also has an international exchange programme. The course has an apt combination of learning, practice and global knowledge. The fee is around 7-8 Lacs for the course. Comparing the two IIT-G has a good ROI and the best place to study for Masters in Designing.

Both the institutes are equally good. Sushant School of Design is one of the top institutes of Design in Northern India. Much known for a holistic approach in studies with the proper combination of practical and research work.
