Being alumni of LPU let me take the opportunity to share the features of School of Education of LPU which will in turn helps the aspirants to select the RIGHT University with Quality Education in this domain. School of Education, LPU is a leading teacher education institution in northern India. The school offers courses from undergraduate to doctorate level. The courses are recognised by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and the state government. The School has an enriched library with huge stock of books, reference materials and journals (print as well as online), and modern lab facilities to support teaching, learning and research. The school is a life-long member of Global Educational Research Association (GERA), All India Association of Educational Research (AIAER) and Indian Association of Teacher Education (IATE). The curriculum is modelled on NCTE framework, 2015 with focus on strengthening communication skills, ICT proficiency and life skills training. In addition to this CTET professional enhancement inputs are provided for better employability. Training for entrepreneurship in the field of education is given focus. Students get opportunities to participate in field based learning experiences and national reconstruction activities. Some of the learning initiatives of the School include:
