After pursuing an M.Sc. In Environmental Science, an individual gets a lot of career opportunities. One may apply for many jobs in the environmental Science field like:
1. Pollution Control
2. Forest Department
3. Social Development
4. Marine Department
5. Water Resources and Agriculture
If you do an M.Sc. In Environmental Science from a good college then you may also get job opportunities through in-campus placements. One such institute is the Institute of Environment Education & Research (Bharati Vidyapeeth University).

There is no sense in doing M.Sc in the same subject, you should think of M.Tech if you want to pursue post graduation. B.Tech is equivalent to M.Sc.

The general course admissions have not started yet. Last year it started in July but this time due to this pandemic it hasn't started yet. Please check the announcement site of NEHU for upcoming dates.

Please write about the college name for better response. However the eligibility criteria of VIT Vellore is given here for an idea. Eligibility criteria : Under graduation in Mathematics/Computer Science/ Physics/ Statistics or UG Degree in Engineering or Technology in CSE/IT/ECE/EEE/E&I with an 60% of marks (Inclusive of all subjects). So from above you are eligible for doing M.Sc. Data Science course.
