As per the JLU Bhopal 2023 placement data, the the highest package offered to students participating in the placement drive held in 2023 stood at INR 14.25 LPA. Earlier, in 2021, the highest package offered stood at INR 15 LPA.
Other than this, as per the JLU Bhopal Law NIRF report, the median package offered to five-year course (BA LLB Hons) students stood at INR 3.9 LPA during the 2022 placement drive.

Once the application process is completed, JLU Bhopal conducts the JLUET test. Candidates seeking admission via JLUET must appear for the exam on the scheduled date. Once the exam results are announced, the university constitutes a list of shortlisted students based on their performance in the exam. These students are further evaluated via a personal interview round.

The admission process for BA LLB at JLU Bhopal begins with submission of the application form. The steps to access and submit the form are listed below:
1. In the first step, students must scan, upload, and email the following documents to the university's official email ID. The documents to be attached are:
- Certified copies of all mark sheets from class 10 onwards till the last completed semester/year.
- Authentic copy of the semester- or year-wise detailed course structure, scheme of teaching, and evaluation of the course of study pursued by the parent university/institution
- No Objection Certificate from the parent university/institution
