  • An Entrance Test is conducted for admission in some of the courses offered by MMC. Admission to other courses is based on the merit obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination. The performance of the candidate in the NEET-PG forms the basis for Madras Medical College admission 2024.
  • Students aspiring to get MMC, Chennai admission in MBBS need to get a valid score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Candidates who qualify NEET examination are then supposed to fill NEET counselling application form to get MMC, Chennai admission in MBBS.

It’s a very good college, one of the best in South India, if your primary aim is good academics. Loads of patients and interesting cases, experienced doctors as teachers, almost all specialties, and very good facilities and modern diagnostic equipment. It was established in 1835 and it was started as a small hospital in 1664. The institute is the third oldest medical college in India established after Ecole de Médecine de Pondichéry and Medical College, Kolkata.
