Cultural Happenings

At Madurai Kamaraj University, we believe that in order to improve our students' talents, they must be given opportunities to express their creativity. Cultural programmes are held numerous times a year to stimulate creative endeavours and to cultivate talent. Students establish groups and share responsibility for event planning.

Dance: Dance is one of Madurai Kamaraj University's most active and diligent clubs. It has over a hundred members. Members perform a variety of dance styles such as hip-hop, Hollywood, salsa, folk dance, classical, freestyle, and modern, among others. The Dance Club operates on the basis of learn, teach, and perform.

Music: The Music is a location where students can jam, learn, and create music of all styles. Throughout the year, the club hosts a variety of activities ranging from huge intra-campus shows to competitive musical competitions. Club of Fine Arts Art is intended to be a natural part of life. Madurai Kamaraj University's Fine Arts Club assists its members in developing an artistic sense. Films, Animation, and Media The club provides a venue for anyone interested in learning more about animation. The club's activities include creating 3D models with various software and creating short animated films (both 2D and 3D). We work with a variety of technologies, including 3ds Max, Toon Boom Animate Pro, Adobe Flash, Premier Pro, boujou, and others.

Yes  there is a placement cell at MKUDDE, Madurai. 

The Vice-Chancellor came up with the concept for the MKU Placement Cell after realizing the importance of providing all students at the MKU campus and its affiliated colleges with permanent placement. The majority of the students were from rural areas, therefore they lacked the knowledge and resources necessary for career planning. The university also has a moral obligation to provide the necessary academic curriculum, teaching-learning techniques, training, and ultimately permanent placement for all the needy students in order to develop a strong society. The university serves as the apex body for all ninety three of its associated institutions.

1. Participate on campus. This can be accomplished through clubs, organisations, or special events. You'll get to meet new people, acquire new skills, and make a difference in your community.

2. Use the resources that are available to you. Students at most universities have access to a wide range of facilities, including libraries, career centres, and mental health services. Make use of these resources to assist you in succeeding.

3. Set priorities for your time. As a college student, you'll have a lot of obligations, so it's critical to prioritise your time and make the most of it.

4. Learn about your lecturers. Developing relationships with your instructors may be really valuable. They can act as mentors and help you with research, internship, and other chances.

5. Maintain your organisation. Keeping track of tasks, deadlines, and other duties will help you remain on top of things and avoid stress.

6. Have a good time! College is an excellent opportunity to discover new hobbies, meet new people, and develop memories that will last a lifetime.
