It is somewhat correct. However, 5% of seats are filled through the Institute level quota. The eligible students of other education boards can be availed this quota. These seats are filled ups by the concerned Polytechnic college.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for WBJEE exam. Maharashtra board is a recognised state board. Exam is conducted only in west Bengal and that is also offline. Some colleges in WBJEE are only for west Bengal domicile students.

Yes you can opt. The eligibility criteria of BBA (FIA) at SSCBS is given below:
1. The applicant should have passed the Class XII examination of any Board/ University examination in India or in any foreign country recognised as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
2. Aggregate of 60% or more marks in the qualifying examination in four subjects: English, Mathematics and any two other subjects included in List B.
