Top roles offered are audit analyst, audit associate, sales managers, human resource executive, project manager.Companies like Cognizant, Axis Bank, Aditya Birla, Samsung, and Oracle visit the campus for recruitment. Tata and many companies recruited students in many places like Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Mysore, etc.

University of Mysore has more placement offer than the Mangalore University.Mangalore University conducts campus placement for students from all departments. The university has a reputation for placing more than 70% of the eligible but Mysore University is having good placement record than that.

Candidates can check the Mangalore University cutoff 2023 on the official university website or other websites like Shiksha, etc. The cutoff is declared by Mangalore University and is based on national and state-level exam scores for admission to various UG and PG programs.
For MBA/PGDM programs, the cutoff is declared based on Karnataka PGCET scores and qualifying exam marks. For M.Sc., M.A., M.S.W., M.Com, M.Lib.Sc., and M.P.Ed. courses, admission is based on entrance exam performance and merit. Ph.D. and M.Phil candidates should complete an exam and interview.

Yes, you can get into Mangalore University B.Tech with 70% in class 12th. However, the eligibility criteria for B.Tech programs at Mangalore University are as follows:
Candidates must have passed their higher secondary examination from a recognized board with at least 45% marks in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics (for BTech programs).
Candidates must fulfill the criteria of the respective educational institution, which may include clearing the college entrance examination or the national test (as per the college/university).

To be Frank, student are so disappointed with the learning environment of the university. Lack of communication skills in lecturers ( both permanent and guest lecturers), no involvement and punctuality towards their work, partiality, lack of commitment and interest both in lecturers and students ( there are exceptions, number of well known persons came out of the same University) and so on. it also depends upon the department in which you choose to study. Some departments are sooo good and some are just opposite. Certificates are having much value in the outer world but… quality of education is pathetic. Mangalore University is

As per the NIRF report 2024, out of 1,481 PG (2-year) graduates 1,181 students were placed successfully during 2023 placements. On the other hand, 24 out of 26 MCA students were placed. The table below mentions the total strength and the number of students placed over the past three years of Mangalore University placements:

The Mangalore University CSE average package has yet to be officially released. However, the NIRF report 2024 incorporates the median package for PG (2-year) and MCA courses. The median package for PG (2-year) courses has been stagnant for 2022 and 2023, i.e. INR 4.50 LPA. For MCA, the median package stood at INR 7 LPA in 2022 and 2023.
