You can easily crack MUOET in three months even if you are not preparing for any engineering entrance exam. The level of MUOET is not that high but competition is everywhere. You need to make proper time table. MUOET generally ask conceptual Questions. The mathematics part is generally easy and scoring as well. If you have studied well for board exams, then it will be quite easy for you.
Points you should know while preparing for MUOET:
1. You should spend 5 hours in mathematics, 4 hours in physics and 3 hours in chemistry.
2. Prefer NCERT books for chemistry and physics (chemistry is must).
3. Stick with the basics as MUOET tests your command over the chapters. For physics, you may prefer HC Verma (both volumes). RD Sharma objective is enough for maths.
4. Apart from all these, you should solve previous year's papers. This will give you an idea about the quality of Questions asked as well as paper pattern. Solve a lot of mock papers too.

To secure a rank under 100 in any competitive entrance examination is a little tough. You have to put a little bit more effort to place yourself in the list of top performers in any entrance test. Although MUOET is not as tough as JEE Mains, the competition is there too. Aspirants of JEE Mains also appear in MUOET so you have to work according to your plan.

1. Concept of physics volume 1 and volume 2 (HC Verma).

Chemistry
1. NCERT: All parts (must buy).
2. A modern approach to chemical
3. Calculations by RC Mukherjee (physical chemistry)
4. Morrison and Boyd for organic chemistry
5. JD Lee by S Guha for Inorganic chemistry.
Maths
1. Cengage books (algebra and calculus)
2. S.L lonely for trigonometry
3. Hall and knight for higher algebra
4. G.N Burman for basic calculus
5. RD Sharma
For English, objective general English by S.P Bakshi and previous years papers are enough.
Apart from these books, you should solve multiple mock papers and previous years papers.You can join online test series for better preparation.
