You should decide for yourself. If you are confident that you can crack the JEE for CSE then you should drop a year, otherwise, don't waste your time. You can also lose what you have now. So, as per my opinion, don't drop and start studying now in IIIT. Placements totally depend on you. If you have good skills and knowledge then you will get placed easily either you are in IIT, NIT, IIIT or any other private college.

You should have a graduation degree in Manipuri language than you will be eligible for the master degree in Manipuri language.

Sure NIT will be heck of an experience for you if you join. So if you are getting Sure, NIT will be heck of an experience for you if you join. So, if you are getting a seat plus you are getting the branch you want then you should definitely go for it. I would advise you to think a lot before selecting a branch since many students take decision hastily and end up doing something they don't want to. If you are sure for engineering and your branch then go for it. First of all, congratulations on clearing JEE Mains and among these low ranked NITs, I would recommend Sikkim followed by Srinagar, Manipur, Nagaland and Meghalaya.

For doing MA in Manipur or for that matter in any subject, one needs to do graduation in same subject. It stands to reason that a student should have done graduation in a subject before doing post graduation.
