The GIBS Business School offers its students, throughout the academic year, numerous cultural events, management and sports events which create an active and developmental campus life. Examples of these are the big inter-college fests such as Enchainer; a management competition among colleges and their students. The highlights of Enchainer are numerous business competitions, quizzes, working on marketing and working through businesses, cultural performances and competitions offering prizes, all combine to produce an effective way to learn and have fun!

Through their participation in events including the Global IRE Summit, Finance Concla

Students consistently describe GIBS faculty as being involved and supportive of students through events, during sessions on-orientation and mentoring on campus. At orientation programs, professors have been described as approachable guides, helping new students better understand the program's curriculum, expectations, and learning culture, easing their transition into management studies and building their confidence towards the program. At events and interactive sessions, faculty have often acted as moderators/mentors/judges, sharing real-world experiences and encouraging active student participation in the learning process. One tip almost every faculty keeps repeating (and honestly it helped a lot) is: “Don't wait till placement season to build your profile. Start from day one.” Sounds simple, but once you actually apply it, things change. At GIBS they literally push us to keep updating our resume, do certifications, join clubs, attend IRE sessions, talk to mentors, and take small projects seriously instead of just focusing on exams.

By the time placements start, you already have things to talk about and skills to show. Faculty always remind us that companies don't only check marks, they check exposure, confidence, clarity and initiative. That mindset

From what I've seen as a student at GIBS, almost everyone lands an internship — like it's honestly 95%+ because they push it super hard through IRE, corporate connects, and projects. And the stipend thing really depends on profiles, but generally I've seen ranges anywhere from 5k to 25k per month, and some roles (especially sales/marketing/finance) go higher if it's PPO-linked.

So internships aren't a struggle here — it actually feels like part of the routine at GIBS.

From what I have seen, GIBS makes the admission process pretty easy for international students. The team actually guides you step by step for documents, fee payment, visa process, and even small doubts about accommodation and travel. A few of my classmates from abroad shared that they didn't feel lost because the counsellors kept in touch through calls and emails.

Once you join, the campus culture is also friendly so you don't feel out of place. They mix academics with a lot of activities, so settling in becomes smoother. I honestly feel GIBS tries to give a proper global exposure environment, not just for Indian students, but also for
