Yes, there is Bachelor of Vocational in Journalism and Mass Communication in Guru Nanak College, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab. The degree is vocational and it aims at equipping individuals with practical, skill oriented training in several areas of media such as print, television, radio, web and digital media. Transferring directly into the 2nd year of BMM at Sophia College for Women, Mumbai is generally not permitted.Sophia college admits student into the first year based on class 12 marks through a merit based process.

The college does not offer lateral entry into the 2nd year even if you have completed 1st year somewhere else

If you're serious about a media career, IIMC Delhi is where you want to be. It's the OG — top-rated, tough entrance, and solid courses in English/Hindi Journalism, TV/Radio, and PR/Advertising. Other decent picks: HIMCOM and Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication — more private, more chill, less cutthroat than IIMC, but still good exposure. Most of these are entrance-based and super hands-on.
