B.Sc. in Agriculture has better recruitments in government departments. Fishery is also good but it is not better than Agriculture. The demand of Agriculture is in nearly every department like Banks, Public welfare, Forest departments etc.

Hi Himank!
You can refer to the following books for preparation:
1. Micro-economics: Hal Varian (Intermediate Micro-economics), Hal Varian Workbook, Osborne (for Game Theory), Bernheim & Whinston (also a good book)
2. Macroeconomics: Dornbusch and Fischer, O. Blanchard, Development Economics by Debraj Ray (for Solow and Harrod Domar growth models), William Branson's book (for general equilibrium questions). Alternatively, you can get hold of the Macro reading prescribed by Delhi University for the 2nd year students (3yr program). This should have most of the relevant content from the first three books.
3. Econometrics and Statistics: Gujar

NYIT is not a university but an institute. Usually, people prefer university education. However, if your grades are not very high or in case finances, time are issues, its not a bad idea to look at NYIT. It has global presence as campuses are located at various places. Placement is assisted but not guaranteed. For more details, check the link below :

Dear Ankita,
Yes, you can pursue any master course if you are B.Com graduate but that should be of either commerce stream or of Arts stream. Only one entrance exam you have to give in the respective college or university, if applicable.

People generally take a year drop for JEE but for IIT JAM exam we are little apprehensive. But in my opinion taking one year off can give you enough time to crack IIT JAM or even any other exam. There are JEST TIFR etc. For M.Sc. Admission. You can read about IIT JAM here - https://www.eduncle.com/iit-jam-exam.

I prefer you to go in NID and apply for it and view the previous year admission list of students. You will be considered like a B.Tech student only, so go for it.
