Hello Admit, For mathematics, practice is very important. And for that, you need to have a strong base and the formulae on your fingertips. For that, NCERT books would be useful at the early stage. Then, you may prefer the Arihant series for practice which would contain the questions of JEE standard. Tata Mcgraw Hill is another useful book which is preferred for many competitive exams. Using these books, you can perform well in the math section of JEE. All the best.

Hi Rahul,
You should go with Maths as maths is mostly asked in one form or the other in many competitive exams be it UPSC or any government exam whereas physics is not so asked if considering competitive exams so you should go with Maths. Good luck.

Hi Sarnya,
For admission in Biotechnology, you need not to prepare Maths and physics for the same as for admission in any post graduation degree you need to prepare only the subject for which you are seeking admission. Some universities may have MAT section as well, you can prepare for that but no need to prepare Maths and physics.
Good luck.
