Hi,
If you opt maths in 11th class you have to study following topics like: sets and function, relation and function, trigonometric function, algebra, complex number and quadratic equation, permutations and combinations, binomial theorem, etc.

I am presuming that you want to take up B.Com or BBA. If you have studied the commerce stream in class 11th and class 12th, then Maths is not compulsory. However, if you are from the Science or Humanities stream, then Maths is compulsory.

Hi Jeevan,
The placements have been very impressive for the 2016-18 batch. Our average package was INR 7.2 lakhs and the highest package went up to INR 16 lakhs. Almost the entire batch has been placed.

Mathematics is a universal subject. If you choose to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics, there will be a lot many options that you will be able to choose from. You can work in different areas such as:
- Mathematician - You can choose to pursue research (become a scientist) in your area of interest in Maths. And, if you choose to research, you can go into the teaching sector also. Check out institutes like TIFR Mumbai, IMSc Chennai, Harish Chandra Research Institute Allahabad. - Chartered Accountancy - If you like auditing, taxes, and accounting, you can think of preparing for CA too. - Banking - Banking is another sector that you can get into
