SRM University is a self-financing, totally for profit institution. Everything is a revenue making model. Low quality food is served in hostels so that students will eat junk food at Java Green again owned by goons of the university. It is recently in news for defrauding large number of students to the tune of 90 crores and the owner cum chancellor is arrested and the final verdict is yet to be given in the court of law. The internal marks are 50- which you can buy in some departments. There is allegations that the. Question papers are leaked or compromised in many instances. You should take admission in HIT. Yes, you are eligible for B. Des. There is no such barrier candidates from any stream are eligible for B. Des, but arts stream is more preferred, because it will helps you in your first year.

No, it is not necessary that you study statics in your all six semesters because in this semesters you may study subjects like trigonometry, 3d geometry, vector algebra etc. You are eligible for M.Sc in maths or statics. There is no such barrier.

Hello dear,
Depends on your choice of branches. If you are looking for Pure Sciences, then no, none of the IISERs mandatorily require a Maths background for BS-MS admissions. However, if you are applying for the Engineering Science (EECS and Chem. Engineering) and the Economics programme at IISER Bhopal, then you are required to have a math background in class 11th and class 12th. Also, as a previous answer pointed out, the Aptitude Test has 25% questions from Mathematics. Hello, Thank you for asking the question. This is an easy question to answer, mathematics is more abstract and less practical. Physics is necessary and utilized in every facet of modern technology, mathematicians are more concerned with manipulating numbers than implementing numbers and constructing systems (other than statisticians. )
I am convinced mathematics and physics are codependent upon one another in many regards.
