Eligibility criteria to pursue B.Arch course from School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University:
1) Candidate should have cleared class 12 exams, with mathematics as one of the core subject.
2) Should have a qualifying score in the NATA entrance exams.
Other eligibility criteria:
Candidates having 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central/State Govts with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics or international baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing after 10 years of Schooling with 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination are eligible to apply.

Both have equal scopes and advantages. You can achieve great heights if you do Ph.D. in whatever you choose. Physics has mathematics embedded in it. It actually depends on what you are really passionate about. I always suggest follow your passion, as it helps you to move ahead with the right zeal. Few points that I feel can be useful during preparation for M. Statistics examination are as follows:
1) Stick to the Syllabus
2) Solve Previous Year Question Papers
3) Prepare with books which have relevant material
4) Time management- Prepare a schedule and stick to it
5) Play to your strengths and identify your weaknesses
6) Sleep on time
7) Revision of course material prior to examination
8) Solve and practice with previous year question papers
