No. There is no major need of mathematics to pursue BBM or BBA courses.

If you want to pursue BBA maths is not an issue. However, basic maths is required as there are subjects like statistics in BBA and yes, accountancy is a mandatory subject if you want your BBA degree without studying accountancy you cannot have your BBA degree.

There are 3 stages to becoming a commercial pilot as mentioned below:
1) To become a commercial pilot in India, one has to first possess a Student Pilot License (SPL). To get the SPL those with 10+2 with Science and aged at least 16 years should register at a flying club, which is recognized by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India. Registration requires a medical certificate, security clearance and a bank guarantee. Fee Structure for B.Sc (Hons.) in mathematics from Shivaji College is as follows:
1) Fee for 1st year- 19,400 INR
2) Fee for 2nd year- 19,150 INR
3) Fee for 3rd year- 19,150 INR
4) Grand Total- 57,700 INR

MBBS has much broader scope as MBBS graduates are certified doctors, and if you have extensive knowledge of your subject, it is easy to find employment, whereas B.Sc. Graduates often have to study PG courses to land a high paying job. So, in my opinion MBBS has much broader scope. Regardless, I have listed down career scope for both avenues which should help you judge which is better.

Hello MS Rajeshwari, That's a very nice query that you asked. Invariably children make the mistake of 'not selecting' a course that has a subject they don't like. But we must select that course for our children which he likes.
As your son like maths, I feel you should allow him to for graduation in maths. Then PG and then perhaps doctorate. Let me assure you that there are enough opportunities in this field of study.
