Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences Eligibility

Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, MAMC (Maulana Azad Medical College) has set eligibility criteria for admission to its Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) program. The criteria include a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from an Indian university or institute, registration with the State Dental Council, and a one-year rotating internship in an approved dental college. The NEET MDS entrance exam is also required. Candidates appearing for their final BDS exam in the year of admission can apply, but their selection depends on passing the final exam and completing the internship by the deadline. There is no upper age limit for applying to the MDS programme at MAIDS, MAMC. The admission process is based on a merit list based on the NEET MDS score of the candidates. MAIDS Delhi eligibility criteria for BDS course is Class 12. Check below the detailed criteria for applying for BDS:

• Indian nationals of 17 years of age on December 31 of the year of admission can apply for BDS.
• Aspirants who have passed Class 12 examination with at least 50% aggregate  (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) in English,  Physics, Chemistry and Biology can apply for MAIDS Delhi BDS.
• Candidates who have passed BSc with any two subjects PCB (Botany/ Zoology) with at least 50% aggregate and Physics,  Chemistry,  Biology and English at Class 12 level can also apply.
• Candidates who have appeared at the qualifying examination are also eligible.
