Both the universities hold the approval of the Medical Council of India (MCI). While MAMC holds rank 24 under the medical category of NIRF 2024, IMS BHU holds rank 7 as per the NIRF 2024. The median package of IMS BHU reaches, INR 15 LPA, while the MAMC median package reaches INR 10 LPA for the course like MBBS.

Maulana Azad Medical College New Delhi accepts NEET UG scores for admission to the MBBS and BDS courses. The MAMC New Delhi MBBS Cutoff 2025 was 103 in the last round. On the other hand, for the BDS course, the last round cutoff was 27386. In comparison, the MBBS course was more competitive for this category.

The University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) course. As per the NEET UG 2024 cutoff for Round 1, MAMC is significantly more competitive as compared to UCMS for MBBS admission. The Round 1 closing rank for UCMS is 390, whereas for MAMC, the cutoff rank is 145 for the General AI category students. It clearly indicates that the MAMC is comparable to UCMS and more famous for MBBS courses among the students.

There are various courses offered by the institute which are MBBS, BDS, MD, MDS, MS, PG Diploma and many more. All courses are decent in terms of the opportunities provided to the students. It completely depends on the interest area of the student. The admission at the institute for various courses is entrance based. Yes, Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi is really good in terms of placements. The institute has 100% placements to students pursuing 2 year PG and 3 year PG. The median package offered to the students of 2 year PG programme and students of 3 year PG programme was INR 89757 per annum during the campus placement drive of 2022. The 2 year PG progams offered at the institute are MSc, PG Diploma and 3 year PG programs are MD, MS and MDS. The institiute showed a growth in their placements from 2022 to 2022.
