Applicants who want to be accepted into this course must take the CAT entrance test. The last round is made on the performance of the candidates during the GD & PI round. Along with the valid CAT score, the students also need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. The minimum requirement in terms of eligibility to GGSIPU MBA admission is a bachelor degree in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% to 60%.

Aligarh Muslim University offers an MBA (General), MBA in Hospital Administration, MBA in Islamic Banking & Finance and MBA in International Business at the postgraduate level for a duration of two years each. AMU admission to all these courses is completely entrance-based and depends' on candidates' performance in CAT or an online written test, conducted by the University. Candidates seeking admission to any of the above-mentioned AMU MBA courses must have passed graduation in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

For admission in MBA the candidate should possess a UG degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories). Also, the candidate should take any of these entrance exams, such as MH-CET/ CMAT/ CAT. Based on their score in any of the aforesaid exams, applicants can apply further for the counselling process.
Those candidates who belong to Maharashtra State have to qualify MH-CET exam. For Outside Maharashtra Candidates (OMS), students can apply through CMAT/CAT/MH-CET.

Candidates in their final year of the bachelor's degree can also apply. Provisional offers will be provided to such candidates. HBTU Kanpur carries out MBA admission procedure in three phases. In the first phase, applicants with a valid CAT or CUET-PG scores are shortlisted and called for group discussion and personal interview (GD & PI) round. In the second phase, candidates with a score of CMAT/AIMA-MAT/CUET-PG are called for GD & PI. If the seats are left vacant after the two phases, then the university conducts an entrance examination to fill out the vacant seats.
