MBA Eligibility

Find below the eligibility criteria to pursue MBA from Canada:
- Undergraduate degree (60%-70% plus in degree)
- Atleast 2-3 years of full time work experience after graduation.
- High score in GMAT
- High scores in IELTS or TOEFL score.
Preferred GMAT score- 550 plus.
Preferred TOEFL score- 90 plus.
Preferred IELTS score- 6.5 bands plus.
The eligibility criteria for admission may vary from university to university.
Yes you may surely pursue MBA from universities in Canada without work experience, there are some universities in Canada which do offer admission in MBA program without GMAT score and work experience, but I would suggest you not to pursue MBA from those universities which do not require work experience and GMAT score for admission.
As pursuing MBA from those universities would not yield any result, instead of pursuing MBA from those universities, you may consider pursuing MBA from a average B-school in India.
I would suggest you not to go abroad just for the sake of going abroad, rather I would suggest you to work for 2-3 years, gain relevant work experience and then opt for MBA from good universities in Canada.

As per your query it seems that you wish to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program so regarding this please remember in order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
The selection process in B-schools generally consists of :
- Past Academic record.
- Scores in entrance tests.
- Group Discussion.
- Personal Interview.
- Work experience.
Please note that each B-schools shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other.
The process may include
- Written Test (WT).
- Group Discussions (GD)
- Personal Interviews (PI).
Performance in various management entrance tests is an important component in the admission process.
B-schools may use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process.
The processes, academic cut-offs and the weights allocated to the evaluation parameters may vary across B-schools.
