The admission procedure has changed this year so last year's data might not be quite relevant.
However, a CAT score of 98+ percentile may be required to have a good shot at FMS Delhi.

Yes, May 2018 attempt of MAT exam going to be conducted for 2018 admissions only. The score card is valid for 1 year.

Some of the reputed B-Schools considering entrance exams as the sole factor for admissions are:-
1. JBIMS
2. SIMSREE
3. KJ Somaiya(SIMSR)
4. Welingkar
5. NL Dalmia(specially for Finance stream)
6. SIES
7. Pumba, Pune
The top six are located in and around Mumbai and accept only MAH MBA-CET scores for their MMS (equivalent to MBA) programs. The cutoff is generally above 98 percentile.

No, it's not compulsory. You can have direct admission in MCA with or without CMAT but it depends on institute and university's own discretion.
