Nothing is difficult or easy, it totally depends on your exam preparation. MAT exam doesn't grantee you job, its the college in which you will take admission based on your MAT score.

Some colleges do ask to apply for colleges before the exam and some after the exam. If you haven't apply then you will not be able to get admission. Or else you can also speak with the college once.

You should look to score above 99.9 percentile in CAT to stand a reasonably good chance of getting into FMS Delhi.
