Yes, even after an MBA if you want to do it all over again, you must go through CAT or any other entrance exam.

If your current employer has a great reputation in the industry then you can go for your next job after doing distance MBA in finance. You can do MBA through distance from a good college of your area as well.

There is no particular choice here, but since MBA applications or admissions prefer candidates with high leadership and managerial skills you should ideally look for a job that would require you to display these skills. If you want to do MBA finance then gain some work experience in the finance sector.
