Yes, you are eligible to apply for MBA in IT. But, few b schools may require certain specific under graduation. MBA IT is not about computer knowledge but a managerial aspect of IT. Anyone can pursue it but students from CS IT or Engineering backgrounds have added advantage. You can also explore on " choosing the right MBA specializations.

Yes, that is right. There is no IT specialization. KSOM only provides Business Administration and Rural Management. But yes, there are courses of IT attached to it

If you have the right skills and passion, background will not be a problem. If you are interested in programming, then MBA is not the right place for you. MBA will teach you to manage IT projects or to be a B.A. It will not teach you to code. You learn programming languages if your goal is to become software developer. You are already a B.Com so I guess instead of switching to programming now, you can do MBA and manage projects, All the best!

Firstly, it would help to have a relevant work experience- something in sync with what you have studied. Even if it is like an internship, corporate environment adds great value to begin with. UGC advises candidates to apply for the NET exams in those subjects only in which they have done their post graduation. Now since you have done your post graduation ie MBA you can apply in the subject Management. You have the option to apply in Computer Applications as your MBA has been done with specialisation IT.
