Various exams are conducted at national and university level each year for MBA in Information and Systems.Following is the list of exams that you can consider taking to take admission into MBA in IT:
- CAT (Common Admission Test): Required by IIMs and other top B-schools
- XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test): For XLRI and other institutes
- CMAT (Common Management Admission Test): Conducted by NTA
- MAT (Management Aptitude Test): Accepted by many tier-2 and tier-3 B-schools
- NMAT: For NMIMS and other partner institutions
- SNAP: For Symbiosis institutes
- GMAT: For international MBA programs and some Indian schools like ISB

It is not necessary to have Science background to pursue an MBA in IT and Systems. Candidates from any stream can opt for this specialisation in the MBA program.
The only condition that is required to seek admission to an MBA in IT & Systems is that the graduation score of the candidates should be at least 50%. Prestigious institutes like IIMs and IITs ask for a minimum of 60% marks score. In fact, final-year students can also apply if they fulfill the criteria sought by the college.
