Students must obtain a Bachelor degree of at least 3 years of probationary period or equivalent and obtain a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in the case of SC, ST and Category I Karnataka students) taken together in all courses that cover languages throughout the years of the Degree exam at any recognized institution / university. Last-year students may apply on provisional basis.
