Rich greenery forest environment.

Placements: Shimoga is a developing city where many opportunities are growing, and some are already started production, but it's not enough to satisfy different skilled students who are leaving the city and migrate to other. But Kuvempu university makes some efforts to provide the job opportunity with local companies and outside as well. But it is the responsibility of local and state government to build the city and create the job opportunities.

Infrastructure: KUS has located in such environment where Sahtadry forest starts. My college blueprint of infrastructure is attractive and modern which a professional course/programme institute is needed. But KUS is delaying to complete the construction. KUS has its auditorium, smart classes, library, and well-furnished indoor and outdoor sports building.

Faculty: KUS has handful experienced faculty staff members, research scholars, and guest faculty members who support, guide and help the students in their betterment of improvements in soft skills and academic skills as well. Presently, KUS offering duel specialisation programmes (i.e., finance and marketing/finance and HR/ marketing and HR).

Other: KUS also make sure about the extra curriculum activities for the students like fest, sports, events, one-day marketing, poster presentation, and Sahyadri ustav.

Good guidance lectures and very good placement opportunities.

Placements: 60 students were selected through the campus placements. They were offered decent packages. Aditya Birla, Wipro, TCS and some BPO companies visited. 40 students got an internship and they earned a stipend of Rs. 1500.

Infrastructure: The college has good buildings and very good library facilities. NCC camp options are available. Sports facilities are provided and the college has a very calm atmosphere.

Faculty: The lectures were very good. The faculty members were very caring and friendly. They provided guidance to all the students and encouraged them. Their contribution mattered a lot during the examinations.
