You must first know the difference between the two. MBA is a degree and PGDM is a Diploma. Note: A PGDM course offered by an Institute that is affiliated o AIU (Association of Indian Universities) is considered equivalent to MBA. So, it holds equal value. Even Iims offer Post Graduate programme instead of an MBA.
2. Syllabus: MBA syllabus is designed by universities, whereas the PGDM course is designed by the Institute itself based on market changes and requirements. Hence, PGDM course syllabus is dynamic.

These packages vary year to year. So, it is hard to tell. But you can ask for the current year's and previous year's data from the admissions department. In fact it is a wise to inquire, to ask questions before enrolling anywhere. After all it is your parents'/your hard earned money. But I can say that good companies like HUL, Amazon, ITC, Deloitte, etc come for placements, so, the packages are good.

I would recommend Jaipuria Institute of management Lucknow. It is among the top management institutes of India. You can opt for PGDM or PGDM in Financial Services at the Lucknow campus.

No. but your work ex, sports and extra curricular activities contribute to 5% marks during admission process. The most important factor is your percentile in CAT or MAT or XAT or CMAT, etc. A candidate must have minimum 3 years bachelors degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline.
