Due to recent developments on recognition issue of AMIE and such course, there is no definite answer to your question. The answer of your question was Yes before MHRD recognition withdrawal notification on 2013. Several Institutions have notified from time to time about their acceptance of AMIE as a valid eligibility or not. I will suggest you to write a mail (because I want you to have written assurance) and follow up with your query to know what is the current stand of IIT on recognition issue. While they write in their eligibility criteria :
Associate Membership Examinations recognised as equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. Degree conducted by recognised professional bodies (like Institution of Engrs. (India), Institute of Chemical Engrs. , Aeronautical Society of India, Institute of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers, Indian Institute of Metals etc. ).
Here the word recognised is point of consideration as for the moment there is no valid recognition and it is in discussion and pending. So to be in safe side, confirm the same with IIT once more.

Placements: The placements are really good here. Many well-known companies visited the campus to give great opportunities to the students. The placement cell and committee are really helpful. The packages offered by the company is also good, it varies from post to post and from company to company. Infrastructure: The campus and hostels are really clean and well maintained. The greenery makes the campus most beautiful. The academic building and hostels as well as mess all are completely air conditioned. The library is also very beautiful. Comfortable Classrooms are also here. Faculty: The faculty is well qualified. All the teachers are Ph.D. in their field. They also have industry experience and they have also worked in the companies. They are nice.

Taking admission in a regular college for BBA would be more beneficial if you want to do MBA or choose a career in Marketing, Sales and Finance or be an entrepreneur. For the benefit of students passing out of school in 2020, If you can't get admission in DU and you wish to pursue BBA you could apply to various private colleges in Delhi that offer regular and quality BBA courses.
