Yes, MBA can help you sharpen your skills in Business Management, and thus assist you in the professional career. However, keeping your interest areas in mind, you need to decide what specialization you need to do from a career perspective. The chances of doing well in a career of one's interest areas are much higher.

For better chances of PR, you should try and purse education in Canada. You can refer the Canada consulate website and check on the skills that are in demand in that country and then try and seek admission in courses related to the said skills. Seek admission into PG courses based on your Graduation qualification.

The decision should be based on your interest areas and long term career aspirations. MBA will give you insight into general management areas keeping in mind your specialization. In case you intend to pursue a career in academics, research, accounts then M.Com could be a better option.
