Hello Deepak,
The market is currently overflowed with inexperienced graduates having a Masters degree. As you have already mentioned that you're an average student, my sincere advice to you would be to gain atleast 2+ years of experience before opting for higher degree.
After 2+ years of experience, you can opt for MBA in correspondence level or full- time course as per your choice.

If you have less than 50% marks in graduation, the chances to get admission in MBA are very less in good B-schools. If you get admission, you will definitely face challenges in campus placement as you may get filtered out in pre selection process, even before GD/PI round.

It depends on how much effort you are ready to make for the same. CAT 2017 is 13 months away, so channelize your efforts and utilize your weekends well. Enroll in a good mock CAT test series to constantly evaluate, where you stand.

If you are comparing salaries, ME will have lower starting salary as compared to MBA, but future prospective are very good in ME as there are fewer people in technical specialization in most of the fields.
More the experience in technical field more will be your demand and more is the salary. MBA will give you a good exposure to corporate world. You have all the chances to get experience and climb up the ladder up to CEOs position. Both the fields are having good career growth.

Dear Skanda,
MBA aviation is a very narrow field. The jobs opportunities are quite less. Therefore, you can prefer any other specialization.

Hello Vishal,
Many students get confused in the track to choose after B.Tech as is in your case.
If you're inclined towards more in-depth technical knowledge, you can go for M.Tech field. So, you need to decide which track you wish to take based on your inclination towards technology. Both the options are good. If you consider my advice, I would suggest you to at least have 2 years of experience before opting f
