The migration from BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery) to MBBS is not allowed in India under normal circumstances since both the courses deal with distinct medical fields. But you can resume MBBS from the beginning by clearing NEET-UG once more and getting admitted in an MBBS college. Transfers among health Science courses may be allowed in private universities, but government medical colleges never facilitate direct migration from BHMS to MBBS. If you want to do MBBS, your best choice is to appear for NEET once more, pass with a good score, and apply for MBBS admission through regular counseling.

Yes, according to the recent UGC guidelines, students can study two degrees at the same time, one in regular mode and the other in online or distance mode. This implies it is legally permitted to study an MBBS degree in regular mode and also take admission in a BA degree in online mode. Nevertheless, you need to ensure that both universities accept this arrangement and that there are no NMC restrictions from the Medical Council of India on further degree programs during MBBS. It is best to inquire with your MBBS school and the provider of the BA programme to ensure that they are compliant with their regulations.

You, stand a good chance of getting into an MBBS programme at semi-government medical schools which frequently have lower tuition costs than private ones if your NEET UG 2024 score is 540. Every year the number of candidates, seat availability and the category bookings all affect the admission cutoffs. For example, there are particular cutoffs for state quota seats at semi-government medical colleges in Karnataka. Furthermore MBBS degrees are offered by establishments such as Delhi Maulana Azad Medical College with annual tuition costs ranging from INR 4,500 to INR 10,000. You have a good probability of getting accepted into a government medical college for MBBS if your NEET score falls into the ST category at 447. With cutoff scores normally falling between 163 and 129, the 40th percentile is the qualifying percentile for the ST group.

The number of applications, available seats, and state-specific quotas are some of the variables that affect admission chances. For example, the All India Rank (AIR) of 201386 with a score of 502 was the 2024 state quota cutoff for ST applicants in government medical institutes in Andhra Pradesh

It is recommended that you attend both State Quota and All India Quota (AIQ) c

MGUMST can also conduct its own entrance exam for admissions provided they still have seats available after the NEET-based admission process. But still, NEET remains the most appropriate and qualifying exam.

To get admission into the MBBS programme at K.D. Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, you need to qualify the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam, with the admission process primarily based on your NEET score; you may also need to consider the UP NEET depending on your state eligibility criteria, and must meet the minimum required percentage in 12th grade Science subjects to be eligible for application.
